Our Authenticity Promise to You
At The Viking Dragon, authenticity isn't just a word — it's the foundation of everything we create. Many pieces in our collection are a faithful reproduction of genuine archaeological finds, crafted using the same traditional methods employed by Viking-age artisans over a thousand years ago.
Rooted in Real History
Our designs are sourced directly from authenticated archaeological sites across Scandinavia, the British Isles, and beyond — from the elite warrior graves of Vendel and Valsgärde in Sweden, to the royal burial treasures of Sutton Hoo in England, to the renowned Rone Hoard of Gotland. Every design has a provenance. Every piece tells a true story.
Traditional Craftsmanship
We use the ancient lost wax casting process for our silver and bronze jewellery — the same technique used by Norse smiths in the 9th and 10th centuries. Our ironwork is hand-forged, our amber is hand-foraged from the Baltic coast of Lithuania, and our leather goods are crafted from veg-tanned cow leather from the UK. No shortcuts. No compromises.
Trusted by Museums, Reenactors & Collectors
Our replicas are trusted by museums, historical reenactors, film and theatre productions, and serious collectors worldwide. When accuracy matters — whether on a museum display case, a film set, or a reenactment battlefield — The Viking Dragon is the name professionals trust.
Archaeologically Sourced. Honestly Made.
We believe you deserve to know exactly where your piece comes from and how it was made. That's why every product in our range includes details of its archaeological source, the artistic style it represents, and the craft method used to bring it to life. Our promise to you is simple: if we make it, it's real.
