Aethelred II (978-1016), silver Penny (c.985-991), Watchet Mint, Moneyer Sigeric, diademed bust right with sceptre, Latin legend and linear circles surrounding, +ÆÐELRÆD REX ANGLORX, the OR ligatured, rev. hand of Providence from billowing clouds. The legends translate as "Aethelred, King of the English" and "Sigeric of Watchet." Watchet is a coastal town in Somerset, England, nearly 17 miles northwest of Taunton.

- Available in packs of 2, 5 and 10.
- Similar size to the original Saxon coins from the late 10th century.
- Diameter 20mm (0.75 inch).
- Made of silver and oxidised to give an antique looking finish.
- Coin weight around 3-4g (0.1oz) each.

If you order before 1pm (GMT) then your package will usually be sent out the same day via Royal Mail, unless it is a large package, which will sent via courier that pick up from us the next working day.
