Handmade Wood Tablet for Viking Age Tablet Weaving.

- Hand-cut dot and ring design on both sides.
- Handmade from either birch or cherry wood with holes drilled in each corner and stained to last longer.
- Please note that if you are new to tablet weaving then you will need a minimum of 4 tablets for a very simple design. The historical patterns we feature in our Viking tablet weaving books require 9, 11 or 13 tablets.
- Diameter 4cm (1.6 inch), thickness 2.5mm (0.1 inch).

These are really excellent - and also cheaper than other suppliers. They are a perfect small size for portable weaving without an ingle loom, and they are made out of single billets of wood, and are just really nice little objects. I think I am going to wax mine to save them picking up dirt as the natural wood surface is very matt. So light.
