Natural & Dyed Shetland Wool Yarn Balls for Nalbinding and Tablet Weaving.

From the far North Islands off the coast of Scotland, these wool yarns are ideal for making wool Viking socks, Viking hats and tablet woven braids.

1/1 means single yarn and 1 gram per metre, so each ball consists of 1 thick thread weighing approximately 90 - 100 grams (3.15 - .5oz) and around 100 metres (328 feet) long.

Available in the following colours:

- Light Brown  - Natural un-dyed light brown wool
- Teal - Dyed from indigo plants.
- Madder Red - Dyed from madder plants.
- Yellow - Dyed from dandelions.
- Natural - Natural off-white / light cream wool.

Natural wool is ideal for dying yourself, so select this if you want to dye your own wool.

Please note that the shades of each ball of wool can vary as they are dyed from natural plant extracts.
