A Viking age bone replica needle case based on various finds from 9th to 11th century Northern Europe.
The needle case has a wooden rim and wooden stopper to enable you to store your nalbinding and sewing needles.
Many needle cases have been found made of bone or antler, but there were also often needle cases made of bronze in the Viking Age.
Needle cases have been frequently found in Viking women's graves.
